Free Range Hunts
There are several properties available for free-range hunting outside of the preserve. These areas are well-managed and have excellent native deer. When hunting a free-range area, there is no upcharge for trophy-sized deer, and only one buck can be taken. If you harvest a buck on the first day, you are welcome to continue your stay through the end of your scheduled hunt. Free range hunts are $1,700 for two days, or $2,500 for three days.
Management Incentive Program
New for the 2026-2027 season is an exciting program to develop mature bucks (three years or older) on all of our free range properties! When you arrive for your hunt, we will go over the differences between mature shooter bucks, and bucks we are allowing to grow another year. There will be a $250 upcharge for bucks taken under three years old. Additionally, ALL HUNTERS who take a picture of an immature buck that they passed on while on their free range hunt at Willow Oak and send to us will receive one entry into the drawing to win the incentive pot! Willow Oak Lodge will start the incentive pot with a $1,000 donation, and the pot will increase $250 with every upcharge on young bucks taken.
Want to fill your freezer?
Doe harvest fees vary based on the property and management. Some properties may have no fee for doe harvest during doe days. Ask about a doe harvest on your hunt and put some venison in the freezer!

Muzzle Loader/Air Rifle Season: November 13-November 17
Rifle Season: November 21st- February 10th
